產(chǎn)品描述：Colonic epithelium cover the colonic mucosal surface and maintain the gut homeostasis by harboring the commensal bacteria in the outer mucus layer. Most colonic epithelial cells are absorptive colonocytes distributed in the crypt top, composed of specilised lineages including secretory goblet and enteroendocrine cells (EECs). They not only coordinate gut absorptive and secretory process, but also control mucosal immunity by presenting antigens to T cells. Dysregulation of the colonic homeostasis is often associated with intestinal inflammation, which underpins various intestinal disorders including bacterial infection, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and colonic cancer.

AcceGen human colonic epithelial cells are isolated from human colon tissue. Cells at P1 are cryopreserved immediately after isolation. Each vial contains more than 5×10^5 cells in 1 ml volume. Cells are characterized positive for CK18 and CK19 by immunofluorescence. All cell lots are tested negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV and other pathogens. Human colonic epithelial cells are quality tested to further culture for 10 population doublings following AcceGen’s recommended protocols.
